The University of Sussex is offering 1 Susan Richmond Scholarship for female students who want to undertake Masters degree courses commencing AY 2019/20 at the University’s Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU). This scholarship aims to provide opportunities for women seeking a new career direction, and hence is applicable only to female students who have been away from study and now wish to change their career direction.
Only the following full-time Masters degree courses are eligible for the scholarship:
- Energy Policy MSc
- Project Management MSc
- Science and Technology Policy MSc
- Strategic Innovation Management MSc
- Sustainable Development MSc
The scholarship is a £10,000 in tuition fee reduction.
Applicants must be female students returning to higher education after at least 3 years away from study.
Only candidates who have accepted an offer of a place on 1 of the abovementioned eligible courses can apply for this scholarship. Applicants will also need to provide a statement of academic interests when they apply. In their statement, applicants have to demonstrate clearly and specifically, their goals and what they aim to do after they finish their Masters. They also need to provide details of significant work experience or extra-curricular activities related to their chosen Masters.
