Partial scholarships are available for this 3-week summer certificate course at UC Berkeley. The curriculum is divided into 2 parts: 1) Leadership Development and 2) Approaches to Environmental Issues.

This 3-week intensive interdisciplinary training includes workshops taught by award-winning Berkeley faculty members from the College of Natural Resources, Haas School of Business, and School of Environmental Design, as well as the departments of Environmental Science, Policy, and Management and Agricultural and Resource Economics. There will be additional instructors who are prominent experts in the areas of green finance, systems leadership, communications, project management, conflict resolution, and consensus building.

Benefits

Participants are also responsible for procuring short term medical insurance.

All attendees will receive the UC Berkeley certificate in Sustainable Environmental Management and benefit from strengthened capacity to develop solutions that balance environmental, economic, and social equity objectives as well as skills for communicating ideas, facilitating multi-stakeholder processes, and leading social change. Those who complete the course receive lifetime membership in the worldwide Berkeley ELP Alumni Network.
