Westminster Undergraduate Full International Scholarship 62 views

Type of Funding

Fully funded

Undergraduate students from developing countries applying to start their Bachelors degree programs in AY 2019/2020 at University of Westminster can apply for the Westminster Undergraduate Full International Scholarship. There is only 1 scholarship offered for AY 2019/2020. Students applying for this scholarship should possess an excellent academic track record.

The scholarship covers full tuition, accommodation, living expenses and flights to and from London.

The scholarship will be renewed each year subject to satisfactory academic performance.

Applicants must be international students from developing countries who hold an offer for a full-time undergraduate degree at the University. For the purposes of this scholarship, the term ‘developing’ includes middle-income countries (see the Official Website for eligible countries).

Applicants will be assessed on academic excellence, financial need and development potential. The applicant’s exam results must demonstrate a high level academic achievement in order to be competitive.

The following types of applicants are ineligible:

  • Those who have applied for a scholarship within the last 2 years and have been unsuccessful. Those rejected for a University of Westminster scholarship are not allowed to apply for another one until 2 calendar year later. For instance, if the application for September 2019 is rejected, the next scholarship programme that the candidate can apply for is September 2021.
  • Those who already have an equivalent level qualification (ELQ). Graduates applying for another undergraduate degree or a Masters graduate applying for a postgraduate degree are considered ELQ students. The only exception to this is if the candidate’s international Masters qualification is regarded as equivalent to a UK undergraduate degree.
  • Those who have already obtained a degree in a developed country at their own expense. Those who have already obtained a degree in a developed country are ineligible to apply for University of Westminster’s full scholarships (covering flights, accommodation, tuition fees and living expenses). They may, however, apply for 1 of the tuition fee award scholarships, providing they meet the eligibility criteria.

Applications are to be sent by post, to reach the University of Westminster, by 31 May 2019.
