The Better Tomorrow Movement is inviting applications for The Hand Up Movement, a tailored peer-to-peer mentorship program to help young social entrepreneurs, community activists, or any highly motivated individual, who can use the program to start or troubleshoot a project aimed at improving communities and the environment.

The mentors will be sourced from highly prestigious youth leadership networks such as the Queen’s Young Leaders Network, The Global Changemakers Network, and the One Young World Network. Selected mentees will be connected to the hand-picked mentors. The Hand Up Movement will work with only 5 pairs at a time; but the program works on a rolling basis, depending on the length of the project. On the average, mentors sign up for a minimum of 4 one-on-one sessions with the mentees.

Participation in the Hand Up Movement is absolutely free as mentors offer their services voluntarily.

Anyone can apply to receive mentorship.

Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, all year round.

Applicants have to submit a Mentor Request Application, consisting of:

  • An “about me” page to introduce themselves and their goals for the program, highlighting the areas they hope to focus on during the mentoring program; and
  • A selection of links highlighting their work or their social media.
