Type of Funding
The University of Sussex is offering the Sussex Future Leaders Masters Scholarship in International Law to outstanding students who wish to undertake a Masters in Law degree programme commencing AY 2019/2020. One such scholarship is available for AY 2019/2020.
Courses eligible for this scholarship are Masters programmes in:
- International Commercial Law
- International Financial Law
- International Human Rights Law
- International Law
- International Trade Law.
The scholarship award is worth £10,000, which is to be used as tuition fee reduction.
To be eligible for this scholarship, candidates must first have received and accepted an offer of a full-time place on the abovementioned eligible Masters in Law programmes commencing September 2019. Applicants must be able to demonstrate substantial experience of leadership and compelling future plans related to their chosen field of study. Also, they should be able to provide an excellent account of their intellectual interest and possess excellent grades.
Those who already have another Sussex scholarship are not eligible. Those applying for Postgraduate diplomas (including CPE Common Professional Examination), the Corruption, Law and Governance LLM that is delivered in Qatar and any Masters funded by the research councils (e.g. ESRC 1+3 funding), are also ineligible.
Applications for the scholarships are to be done online by 1 July 2019.
