Description

The University of Padova offers Scholarships in specific departments in AY 2019/2020 to international (non-Italian) students. In AY 2019/2020, the following Departmental Scholarships are being offered:

  • Department of Agronomy, Food, Natural resources, Animals and Environment (DAFNAE) – 4 scholarships for the Masters degree in Italian Food and Wine and 4 scholarships for the Masters degree in Sustainable Agriculture.
  • Department of Political Science, Law, and International Studies (SPGI) – 2 scholarships for the Masters degree in Human Rights and Multi-level Governance and 2 scholarships for the Masters degree in European and Global Studies.
  • Department of Information Engineering (DEI) – 2 scholarships for the Masters degree in ICT for Internet and Multimedia.
  • Department of Comparative Biomedicine and Food Science (BCA) – 1 scholarship for the Bachelors degree in Animal Care and 1 scholarship for the Masters degree in Biotechnologies for food science.

Benefits

Department of Agronomy, Food, Natural resources, Animals and Environment (DAFNAE) – The amount of each scholarship is €5.760,37 (gross) per year. The Scholarship is granted for 2 academic years.

Department of Political Science, Law, and International Studies (SPGI) – The amount of each scholarship is €5.760,37 (gross). The Scholarship is granted for 1 academic year.

Department of Information Engineering (DEI) – The amount of each scholarship is €5.500,00.

Department of Comparative Biomedicine and Food Science (BCA) – The amount of each scholarship is €2.600,00 (gross). The Scholarship is granted for 1 academic year.

Eligibility

Applicants must be of non-Italian nationality and hold a non-Italian secondary school diploma (for Bachelors degree applicants) or a non-Italian Bachelors degree (for Master’s degree applicants). They have to pre-enrol for the relevant course within the deadline for applications, which is 28 February 2019.

Candidates will automatically be considered for the scholarships if they meet the requirements. There is no separate application to be filled.

Candidates will be selected for a scholarship based on the basis of their academic excellence and promise in the proposed field of study, academic quality and results of the preceding education, etc. In order to receive the scholarship, applicants must complete the online acceptance procedure and pay a tuition fee deposit of €185,00 within the deadline indicated in the Offer Letter.

Those who already benefit from other national or international scholarships or grants are not eligible.

Application

Applications for the relevant courses are to be done online by 28 February 2019.
