Description

International students who wish to undertake the Master of Conservation Biology at Victoria University of Wellington commencing AY 2020 will receive scholarships for their studies. The scholarship will be automatically processed once the application for the Master of Conservation Biology course is accepted.

The Master of Conservation Biology is a 1-year, 180-point professional Masters programme that connects conservation, ecology, biodiversity and sustainability.

Benefits

The scholarship award is NZ$10,000 towards fees (international student fees are NZ$48,020 for the full programme). Those whose application to the Master of Conservation Biology is accepted will automatically receive their scholarship award.

Eligibility

All eligible international students enrolling in the Master of Conservation Biology in AY 2020 are eligible for the scholarships.

Applicants for this Masters programme must either possess an appropriate Bachelors degree with B+ average, or extensive professional and academic experience. They also need to satisfy the university’s requirements for English proficiency (see Official Website for details).

Application

The application form for the Master of Conservation Biology is available online and must be sent by mail or by courier to the University, by 15 October 2019 for Trimester 1 2020 admission (start date: January 2020) or by 1 May 2020 for Trimester 2 2020 admission (start date: 6 July 2020).
