Description

The University of Padova offers scholarships under the Padova International Excellence Scholarship Programme to highly talented students wishing to pursue a Bachelors or Masters degree programme conducted in English, commencing AY 2019/2020. Only candidates showing the highest achievements and school or academic records will be awarded a scholarship. Scholars will have to fulfil an ambassadorial role and represent the University at a number of events.

One scholarship will be awarded for each Bachelors and each Masters degree.

Benefits

The scholarship is in terms of a fee-waiver plus €12.000,00 (gross), for 1 academic year. Renewals could be granted upon specific merit conditions, but are not necessarily guaranteed.

Eligibility

Applicants must be of non-Italian nationality and hold a non-Italian secondary school diploma (for Bachelors degree applicants) or a non-Italian Bachelors degree (for Master’s degree applicants). They must be highly talented students and they have to pre-enrol in 1 of University of Padova Bachelors or Masters degree programmes conducted completely held in English within the deadline for applications, which is 28 February 2019.

Candidates will automatically be considered for the scholarships if they meet the requirements. There is no separate application to be filled.

Candidates will be selected for a scholarship based on the basis of their academic excellence and promise in the proposed field of study, academic quality and results of the preceding education, etc. In order to receive the scholarship, applicants must complete the online acceptance procedure and pay a tuition fee deposit of €185,00 within the deadline indicated in the Offer Letter. Applicants must be able to comply with the conditions for obtaining an Italian visa (non-European students only).

Those who already benefit from other national or international scholarships or grants are not eligible.

Applications for the relevant courses are to be done online by 28 February 2019.
