Women from Asian or African countries affected by natural disasters, drought or famine, who wish to pursue the prestigious MBA programme at HEC Paris commencing either September 2018 or January 2019, can apply for the Fondation Rainbow Bridge Scholarship.
The 16-month program is divided into 2 phases: Fundamental and Customized. In the 8-month Fundamental Phase, student acquire core management skills. During the 8-month Customized Phase, students will tailor the MBA program to their personal aspirations and professional objectives through a wide range of options including elective courses, specializations, international exchanges and fieldwork projects.
Two scholarships of € 20,000 per year will be awarded.
Applicants must be top-caliber female candidates from Asian or African countries affected by a natural disaster, drought or famine, and who have been admitted to the full-time HEC MBA program. They must demonstrate a commitment to solving some of the social and economic issues affecting their countries while working for the long-term security of the people living there, and should have exemplary leadership skills in 1 or more of the following areas: community work, charity engagement or sustainable development practices.
Applicants must submit a 1-500-word essay on thier post-MBA goals and why they should be named the Fondation Rainbow Bridge Scholar at the HEC Paris MBA Program.
HEC’s admissions process is on a rolling basis throughout the year. However, candidates applying for the September 2018 intake must apply for admission by 1 May 2018 in order to be considered for the scholarship, as candidates admitted after 15 June 2018 cannot be considered for the scholarship for the September 2018 intake. Likewise, those applying for the January 2019 intake must apply for admission by 15 October 2018, as those admitted after 26 November 2018 will be ineligible for the scholarship.
