University College London is offering the ESDA Potential Energy Scholarship to students who are applying for the MSc in Energy Systems and Data Analytics (ESDA) programme commencing AY 2019-2020.
The MSc in Energy Systems and Data Analytics programme is for students with a quantitative background who have an interest in energy and who are motivated by the use of data science to solve sustainability problems. Students undertaking this course will gain skills which help them to become leaders and innovators in the energy sector, and to work in all types of energy related companies, including large-scale utilities and data science companies to innovative new start-ups.
The scholarship award amounts to £4,680 per person.
Applicants can be from any country but must hold an offer, conditional or unconditional, of a place on the MSc in Energy Systems and Data Analytics at UCL for AY 2019-20 in order to apply for the scholarship.
The Scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit as well as any relevant professional merit. Applicants have to provide evidence and examples of such academic and professional merit if applicable, including any prizes, work experience and scholarships.
Applicants for the Masters programme must have at least an upper second-class Bachelors degree or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.
