The Monash Business School at Monash University is making available 1 MBA Leadership in Emerging Economies Scholarship to leaders from the world’s emerging and developing economies, who wish to pursue the Monash MBA for AY 2020.
This scholarship aims to support the development of leaders who want to advance their nation’s prosperity through the pursuit of the Monash MBA and who would not be able to afford to do so, without the scholarship.
The scholarship is in the form of a full fee waiver (valued at up to $80,000).
Candidates for the scholarships must have demonstrated career progression and articulated a compelling career plan that contributes to the advancement of their country’s economic and social development. They must be citizens and residents of the United Nations’ list of 47 least developed countries (as of 2018), and have applied for the Monash MBA Program in Australia for AY 2017/2018. Australian citizens or permanent residents are not eligible.

Applicants for the MBA must possess an Australian Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with 3 years’ work experience, including at least 1 year of professional/managerial experience. They need to have a high level English language proficiency.
Those who wish to be considered for the MBA Leadership in Emerging Economies Scholarship must upload an additional scholarship application statement, when applying for admission to the MBA program, which application must be done online by 31 May 2019, 31 July 2019 or 30 September 2019. As there is only 1 intake for the MBA commencing in February 2020, students are urged to apply early.
